These terms are an agreement between you and SteadFox ("we", "us") about your use of the PMP Exam Prep app ("the app"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What the app is and is not

The app is independent practice material for the PMP exam. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by PMI. PMP is a registered mark of Project Management Institute, Inc.

Our questions are original and are written for practice. They are not real exam questions. The app does not guarantee that you will pass the exam or achieve any result. Practice questions alone do not count toward the 35 hours of project management education that PMI requires to apply for the exam. Check PMI's current requirements and exam content outline yourself: they are the authority.

We try hard to make every question and explanation correct, but mistakes can happen. If you find one, use "Report a mistake" in the app.

Your account

You need an account to use the app. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under it. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

Free preview and subscription

The app includes a free preview of a limited number of questions, including one complete case study. Everything else needs a subscription.

• Plans and prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency. The price you see at purchase is the price charged.
• Payment is taken by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) when you confirm the purchase.
• Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancelling. Manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting your account in the app does not cancel your subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
• Restore purchases is available on the paywall and in Settings if you reinstall or change phones.
• We may change prices or plans; a change will not affect a period you have already paid for, and you can cancel before it applies to you.

Using the app

You may use the app for your own personal exam preparation. You may not copy, share, resell or republish the questions, explanations or other content; use bots or scraping to extract them; try to break, reverse engineer or overload the app or our systems; or use the app for anything unlawful.

Our content

The app, its questions, explanations and design belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them in the app while these terms apply. You keep ownership of what you write in a mistake report, and you give us permission to use it to improve the app.

Availability and changes

We may update, change or stop parts of the app, including the question bank, and the app may be unavailable from time to time. Practice works offline once questions are downloaded, but progress is saved to our servers only when you are online.

Ending these terms

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, with notice where reasonable. Sections that by their nature should survive (for example about our content and liability) will survive.

Disclaimers and limits

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises about it being error-free or uninterrupted, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of an exam fee, a certification, a job or earnings. Our total liability to you for anything connected with the app is limited to the amount after commission you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or zero if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Siliguri, West Bengal, India, and disputes will be decided in its courts, except where your local consumer law gives you the right to go to the courts where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
